In Leidsestraat in Amsterdam, there are four construction hoardings featuring artworks by Julian Opie. Julian Opie is a contemporary British artist whose simple, graphic figurative portraits, paintings, and videos offer a flat perspective on contemporary life. Commissioned by Kroonenberg Groep, Opie designed four artworks especially for these construction hoardings.
The works were given the titles: Joggers, The Angel 1, The Angel 2, and Playground.
